Transense expands European distribution as digital tyre management grows

The agreement gives Transense its first dedicated distribution partner with operations in mainland Europe, expanding local availability, technical support and customer service through Hamaton's established sales and distribution network.

The move comes amid growing pressure on fleets and tyre service providers to digitise tyre management. The 2024 EU requirements for TPMS on new commercial vehicles and trailers, expected Digital Product Passport rules and the increasing use of RFID-enabled tyres are all reshaping how tyre data is captured, shared and acted upon.

The changes are creating a stronger market for connected inspection tools capable of delivering accurate, traceable tyre data.

Operating throughout Europe and expanding into the Middle East, Hamaton Ltd and Tyresure Ltd specialise in the sale and distribution of TPMS solutions and have built an extensive customer base across the commercial vehicle, tyre service, and automotive aftermarket sectors.

Under the agreement, Hamaton and Tyresure will supply the full Translogik range, including its TLGX tyre inspection devices capable of measuring tread depth, tyre pressure, TPMS and RFID, alongside the TIRETASK software platform.

Products will be stocked at Hamaton's German distribution centre, enabling faster delivery within the EU, simplified purchasing and local technical support in key European markets.
