The US Army announced GE Aviation's T901 turboshaft engine which uses Transense's SAW sensor technology built into every engine

to measure torque and help deliver impressive improvements in performance, reliability, and fuel efficiency has completed its First Engine to Test (FETT) campaign as part of the U.S. Army’s Improved Turbine Engine Program for the next-generation of rotorcraft engines that will power the Boeing AH-64 Apache, Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, and the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA).
